10 Ways To Put Your Brand Photos To Work!

Have you been considering a brand photoshoot for your business but aren’t sure where or how you would use more than just a headshot?

Or, perhaps you’ve invested in a brand photoshoot but your images are collecting “digital dust” in a folder on your hard drive?

Services and products can seem similar, but YOU are often the differentiating factor when someone is deciding where to spend their money.

Brand photos allow you to create beautiful visual content that will “stop the scroll” and build connections with your audience.

Here are 10 ways to put your brand photos to work!

Social Media

With a constantly changing landscape, social media is the spot that requires the newest content. Your new brand photos are perfect for a feed refresh! If you’ve made your brand photos fun and personable (here are my tips on how to do that, by the way), sharing them with your followers is a great way to create a connection with your audience. Your collection of images will allow you to show up consistently, which reinforces that connection and builds trust.

Not sure what to share in the caption? Why not highlight your signature service (or product) or create a fun intro post?!

Profile Pictures

Your profile image is often the first touchpoint someone has with your business so you want to be sure you are making the best first impression every time with a photo that is high quality and current.  Here are some of the platforms where having a memorable profile pic is important:

  • LinkedIn

  • Instagram

  • Facebook

  • Twitter

  • Zoom

  • Business email/Gmail

  • Email signature

  • Pinterest

There are differing opinions about using the same profile pic across all platforms.  In my opinion, it is okay to change things up and use images that align with the platform.  For example, your LinkedIn image should be more conservative while your Instagram profile pic can be a bit more fun!

Website

Most of us remember to post on social media regularly, but we can easily forget to give our website a little facelift from time to time!  Brand images should be sprinkled throughout your website, not just on your “About Me” page.

Updating your website photos to include images from your most recent brand photoshoot is a fantastic way to keep things current.  Plus,  great visuals on a website are much more likely to keep potential customers clicking than just a long page of plain text.

Press Features

Is your business getting some buzz in the media? First of all, congratulations!

The publication is likely to ask for a few brand photos to include in the feature and since you have your collection of brand images at the ready, fire away! Secondly, make sure to send the publication a few brand photos to use in their piece. This is It’s  This is such an awesome way to organically highlight your brand and your personality to a new audience.  Oh, and don’t forget to give your photographer credit, if possible.  Sharing is caring after all!

Promotional Emails & Blogs

Working on a fresh new marketing strategy? Incorporate your brand photos into your email funnels and blog posts! Again, images are a great way to break up long pages of text, as well as offer potential customers some fun insight into your brand’s personality and aesthetic.

Program Launches

If you’re about to launch a course, podcast or membership, it’s the perfect time for a brand photoshoot. Professional yet personal visual content is absolutely essential for your landing pages, for the program promotion, and within the course material.

When marketing an upcoming launch, brand images give potential clients a glimpse of the person behind the brand and it’s no secret that people are more likely to buy from people they know, like, and trust.

When it comes to course material, your customers will appreciate your professional photos. They want to see you, not a few strangers in stock photos—so investing in a photoshoot will go a long way in building rapport with your audience.

Speaking Engagements

If you’ve been asked to speak on a podcast or to give a talk for any organization, you will be asked for a photo they can use to promote the event.  You want to use an image that represents who you are today.  You also want to be prepared as these types of engagements can pop up at any moment.  Don’t get caught up in a scramble of trying to find a photographer “like yesterday!”  Be proactive and keep that brand image library filled with up-to-date photos.

Presentations

If you’re pitching new brand partnerships or giving a signature talk, great photos are a must. Include a selection of brand photos throughout your slide deck to spice up and personalize your presentation.  I have no doubt those eye-catching images along with your amazing presentation skills will have your audience enthralled!

Lead Magnets/Opt-Ins

If you offer a free download as a way to capture emails, having an intro section that includes a brand photo is a great way to create a connection with this new friend and potential client.  You can also include brand photos in the email nurture sequence that follows.

Printed Materials

Including an image of you on printed materials is an excellent way to add a personal touch.  This can include items such as:

  • Business cards

  • Marketing flyers/postcards/brochures

  • Thank you cards

As you can see, there are so many ways to put your brand photos to work. Investing in a collection of brand images will help you simplify your marketing, create connections, and stand out as a leader in your industry. What are you waiting for? Schedule a call with the button below.
